Eau Claire Men's Rugby Celebrates 30 Years.

30 years of Rugby in Eau Claire. In 1980 some men had an idea of forming a rugby team in Eau Claire. They formed the team, but also started a tradition that continues today. Men's teams have played some Division I schools such as Notre Dame and Penn State through the years.

The tradition continues today as men take on teams from Wisconsin, Minnesota, Upper Michigan, and other teams at tournaments.

The 30th Anniversary Alumni game was played on May 8th. Over 50 alumni from 1980 through 2009 joined the current team in a well fought battle on the pitch. We were able to celebrate the tradition of the game of Rugby in Eau Claire for the past 30 years.

Fall Schedule.

The Fall Schedule has been announced. It's a pretty good line up of games. We're looking forward to dominating this season! Schedule is as follows:

oct. 2         vs. lacrosse (homecoming)
oct. 9         @  michigan tech
oct. 16       round 1 of the playoffs
oct. 24       state finals in madison
oct. 30-31  D2 sweet sixteen
nov. 6-7     Midwest D2 finals

Home games are @ The Bollinger Pitch and usually start at 1:00pm.
